no virus but failed to start = libgdk-win322.0-0.dll is missing maybe that was the virus
features:* both sqlyog and sja will now detect if base64 encoding is required for http-tunnel.funtionality changed:* chunk setting (for exports) now also has effect for non-http-tunneled connections. using this option is required if it takes more time to retrieve data from a table than server ␘net_write_timeout␙ setting.* sqlyog will now not reconnect if connection is lost during imports. instead an error message will prompt (the reason for this is that session variables defined on top of the script would be reset to server defaults with reconnection. as a result (and most important) special characters could garble and other errors could occur as well)..* when trying to insert or update spatial data types from the data/result tab sqlyog will now throw an error. spatial data must be handled from the editor (but a result set from a table with spatial columns can be updated from result tab if there are no spatial columns in the result).pretty nice software (even if the free version has nags). however, my major gripe which continues to be ignored is that the text in the query editor does not match what is saved to the file system when auto-formatting is in use (example: caps). this is appallingly bad design and extremely obnoxious.
wow! i'm positively surprised... really a great little program! i love to be able to put some stickies to sleep. very neat how many little things have been taken care of to enhance the user's experience. nice website too. if you like it and can afford to do so, please donate to keep the author happy.
over the years i've tried different versions of this search tool, and have spent 3 or 4 hours trying to use it from different computers, and for different search scenarios. cons:> no built in fileviewer> only search by filename, and not file contents (no full text search!!)> doesn't search network shares.> ui very limited, and in my opinion basically unusable.> http/etp/ftp server functionality (wasted too much time trying to get this working properly on multiple servers and workstation). also this server is a *sizable* security hole (not a good idea to add a server into an application, unless you want malware and hackers getting in).> installs user data into c:\programs files\, which skirts development practices for vista, win7 and win8. > other issues: no autoupdate mechanism, esc closes the application (another bad development practice), etc.pros:> free (better search tools exist: google (ok), microsoft (ok- for searching lots of text files), locate32 (ok+), and mo-search (the only one i use every day) > options dialog provides lots of checkboxes (don't improve my search experience)> people seem to download this, and i surmise some like it (not sure why)every year or two i'll really spend time testing a bunch of desktop search tools. but (thus far) they all frustrate, and prevent me from finding what i need, and lack an integrated fileviewer, lack truly ranked results, and lack common search filtering capabilities. the only one i run on all my workstations and servers is mo-search (also free).
finally mpc-be is on betanews.. about time.. and yea.. great player.. got some improvements over mpc-hc as well (beyond not looking like it was made in 1995)... will be interesting to see these two battle it out..
3 because it works. but why use pc memory for updating weather. all you need is a simple app like "the weather channel" on your cell phone for tomorrows forecast and as for today's - look out the window! i agree a developer should not continuously misuse a forum to plug his product.
dumped the 2.3 amd for a 3.0 pentium and wow, i love the gui. last version crashed but this latest loaded up fine and dng's did not slow it down a bit.i have zoner photo studio which likes raw images but it is intensive on my 1 gig pentium with an older 6200 card and is not free.beautiful
weather alarm clock rules! :)almost all of the bugs when running on windows vista have been fixed!i am just hoping to see a lot of new features coming sometime soon. some of those features i would like to see are being able to pick any color i want for the calendar with "no" transparent backround.also when highlighting a day on the weather popup it should have a tooltip showing the weather for the day like if its snow, rain, cloudy, fogand i would love if it had a weather alarm warning system built in.
the gold standard of all explorer replacements.
